The sound of this letter is [b], [b].
Here is how you write ב (beit):
Start by moving to the right, drawing a horizontal line. Next, connect the vertical line by drawing it straight down from the right end of the horizontal line. Draw a horizontal line at the bottom, making it shorter on the right side.
The cursive version is like this:

With dagesh:
בּ
If you leave out the dot, called dagesh, beit becomes veit.
The sound of veit is 'v,' but we don't count it as a separate letter in the alphabet. Remember, these dots are usually not written.
