John: These are very popular expressions, and you can hear people in Israel using them often. Use them when you want to get more information or an opinion about something. |

Katja: מה הסיפור שלו? (ma ha'sipur shelo?) |
Katja: מה נפל עליו? (ma nafal alav?) |
Katja: מה נהיה? (ma nihiya?) |

Katja: מה הקטע של...? (ma haketa she...?) |
John: literally meaning "what's the thing of...?." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "what's the thing with...?". |
