Hi ืคื“ืจื•,

Thanks for commenting!

Note one small correction - "ื–ื” ืฉืœ ื›ืœื‘ ืฉืœื™" should be "ื–ื” ืฉืœ ื”ื›ืœื‘ ืฉืœื™" - think about it as - "This is (the property of) the dog (which is mine)".... might sound a little funny, but this is how the sentence is built in Hebrew :)

Yours,

Roi

What wonderful ways to express what I was trying to say. Your last sentence was a bit confusing, but I think you meant in the same sentence.ie. " on this shirt" if I want to use the word "shirt". Thank you, Yaara. Very helpful.

Hi Shelley Lynn,

Thank you for posting.

"Whose is this? This is my sisterโ€™s shirt. The shirt has a juice stain on it."

The last part can also be:

You can also say:

Or:

If it's obvious you are talking about a specific shirt. However, if you do mention the word "shirt" in the sentence, it has to be right before or after the word

I hope this answer was more helpful than confusing...

Sincerely,

Yaara
