Hi PedroO,

Thank you for commenting.

Many people find the Hebrew Resh hard to pronounce. It sounds closer to the Spanish R than to the English one, just a little more "flat" and shorter. Native Hebrew speakers produce this sound with the tongue touching the bottom teeth and tremoring the back of the throat.

My recommendation is to listen to Hebrew songs or talks and try to practice it using the same words that you spot.

I hope that will help :)

Yours,

Roi

Difficult for me to pronounce the Hebrew resh. I always use the English or Spanish r.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for commenting.

"Korim" should be pronounced as you thought - with the R, but maybe it's easy to miss hearing it in case that the speaker talks a little too fast... :)

Happy to help!

Why does ืงื•ืจืื™ื sound like ko-im, as if there was no r inbetween? Maybe it's me not hearing it right.

Hi Fabrizzio Panimboza & Gary,

Thanks fpr the good feedback and for commenting!

Yes, the English "how" can be translated on different ways, acc to context.

How much, How many, How long (and others) = ื›ืžื”

while How (does it work) is translated as ืื™ืš.

Hope it's clearer now :)

Yours,

Roi

Are there two ways to say how? How are you called versus How much does it cost??
