| Today, we're going to work on getting your package one step closer to its intended destination. In the previous lesson, we discussed the phrase "I would like to send a package to Italy," which was for a man. אֲנִי רוֹצֶה לִשְׁלֹחַ חֲבִילָה לְאִיטַלְיָה, Ani rotse lishloakh khavila leitalia. Let's break it down by syllable, אֲנִי רוֹצֶה לִשְׁלֹחַ חֲבִילָה לְאִיטַלְיָה, Ani rotse lishloakh khavila leitalia. |
| And, for a woman, אֲנִי רוֹצָה לִשְׁלֹחַ חֲבִילָה לְאִיטַלְיָה, Ani rotsa lishloakh khavila leitalia. Let's break it down by syllable, אֲנִי רוֹצָה לִשְׁלֹחַ חֲבִילָה לְאִיטַלְיָה, Ani rotsa lishloakh khavila leitalia. |

| When sending a package though, you will probably have to explain what's in the package. They may even ask you, "What's in the package?" In Hebrew, this is ?מַה יֵשׁ בַּחֲבִילָה, Ma yesh bakhavila? Let's break it down by syllable, ?מַה יֵשׁ בַּחֲבִילָה, Ma yesh bakhavila? Now, let's hear it once again, ?מַה יֵשׁ בַּחֲבִילָה, Ma yesh bakhavila? The first word מַה, Ma means "what." Let's break down this word and hear it one more time, מַה, Ma. Next, we have the word יֵשׁ, Yesh, which in English is "have." Finally, we have בַּחֲבִילָה, Bakhavila, which is the Hebrew word for "in the package." To recap here, we have ?מַה יֵשׁ בַּחֲבִילָה, Ma yesh bakhavila? Literally, this means "What is there in the package." All together, we have ?מַה יֵשׁ בַּחֲבִילָה, Ma yesh bakhavila? If you want to be sure to name all the things you are sending correctly, English is perfectly accepted. |

Let's break it down by syllable, ?מַה הַחֲבִילָה מֵכִילָה, Ma hakhavila mekhila? The first word מַה, Ma means "what," and then you have הַחֲבִילָה, Hakhavila "the package." Finally, you have מֵכִילָה, mekhila, which in English is "contain." All together, we have ?מַה הַחֲבִילָה מֵכִילָה, Ma hakhavila mekhila? This literally means "What does the package contain?" |
