John: This is Must-Know Hebrew Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 13. In this lesson, you'll learn slang expressions for a negative state of being.
John: These expressions are useful for expressing your current negative state of being.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
John: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:
Katja: להיות גמור (lihiyot gamur)
Katja: להיות מחוק אצל מישהו (lihiyot makhuk etsel mishehu)
Katja: להיות גנוב לגמרי (lihiyot ganuv legamrei)
Katja: להיות בלי גרוש על התחת (lihiyot bli grush al ha'takhat)
John: Katja, what's our first expression?
Katja: להיות גמור (lihiyot gamur)
John: literally meaning "to be finished." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to be really tired, drunk, stoned, or done."

John: Use this slang expression when you want to describe the condition of being really tired, really drunk, very stoned, or at the point where there's no other way to continue.

John: literally meaning "to be erased by someone." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to be considered dead by someone."

John: Use this slang expression when you want to describe the situation of giving zero attention to someone, or the situation of getting zero attention from someone.

John: literally meaning "to be completely stolen." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to be completely nuts."
