Thank you for helping me wrap my mind around "mul" and M'Mul".

Am I understanding correctly? So mul has "from" built in? across from equals "mul"? And mimul l' from across requires the " to"- "L"?

Hi Shelley,

Thanks for commenting.

1. yes, this is a smichut.

2. "Down the stairs" can be translated as "במורד המדרגות"

3. "mimul" and "mul" are usually replaceable, but in this case when we have the smichut "mul mirpeset-hasalon" - מול מרפסת הסלון, mul sounds better, hard to explain why... we could say "ממול למרפסת-הסלון" (adding "le") as well.

Shalom Roi,

1. chadar havodah -is that a smichut?

2 . That is from the right to the kitchen-I understand, but difficult to remember. Can't believe that the rest of sentence was correct! Hurray! Is there another way to say downstairs?

3. Verbs correct-great- I see that you added " the" to bed and took out "zeh" and "m", from the balcony. Does "mool" incorporate " from"-"across from?" so it is not necessary to add the mem?. As always, enjoy your feedback.

Hi Shelley,

Good work!

A few notes -

1. חדר-העבודה צמוד לחדר האוכל - the word - הינו - isn't really necessary, right conjunction is -חדר-העבודה .

2. one fix - לשירותים שמימין למטבח = the bathroom to the right of the kitchen.

3. correcting a few typos and "the"s - החתולה ישנה /ישנה /תישן /על המיטה שלי בחדר השינה שבהמשך המסדרון ומול מרפסת הסלון

Keep up the good work!

Roi

The study adjoins the dining room. החדר עבודה הינו צמוד לחדר האוכל

During the night I felt sick in the apartment and ran quickly downstairs to the bathroom to the right of the kitchen.

במהלך הלילה הרגשתי בחילה בדירה ורצתי במהירות למטה לשירותים לימינה של המטבח

The cat sleeps, slept, will sleep on my bed in the bedroom that is down the hall and across from the living room balcony.

החטולה ישנה /ישנה /תישן /על מטה שלי בחדר השינה שזה בהמשך המסדרון ומול ממרפסת הסלון

It would be so much easier if there was also a printed Hebrew word with English translation.
