Hi hilda,

Thanks for commenting and for the positive feedback!

Just FYI if you missed it - there is an option to play the lesson at a slower speed! Just click on the 1x button on the video (left to the volume controller) and choose either 0.75x or 0.5x.

I hope that helps! ๐Ÿ˜„

Hi Shelley and Ellen,

Thanks for commenting!

@Shelley - "Lekayem" - Yes, we can conjugate it, but it's mostly used in the sense of "doing" something. i.e - ืื ื™ ืžืงื™ื™ื ืืช ื”ื˜ืงืก = I conduct the ceremony.

3a - Sorry I missed it. No, since "ืžืขืจื›ืช ืฉืขื•ืช" is feminine, it should have been phrased: ืžืขืจื›ืช ื”ืฉืขื•ืช ืฉืœืš ืฆืคื•ืคื” ืžืื•ื“.

@Ellen - This is a good example of how a preposition changes the meaning of a verb. choosing "be" (...ืœื‘ื—ื•ืจ ื‘) can be used to describe in what exactly the choice was. for example: ื”ื•ื ื‘ื—ืจ ื‘ืืคืฉืจื•ืช ื”ืงืœื” ื™ื•ืชืจ = He chose the easier option.

Choosing "et" can be used as the following, when describing the act of choosing itself: ื”ืื–ืจื—ื™ื ื™ื‘ื—ืจื• ื”ื™ื•ื ืืช ืจืืฉ ื”ืžืžืฉืœื” ื”ื‘ื = The citizens will choose today the next president.

I hope it's clear, please reply to the comment if not :)

Yours,

Roi

Why does the verb livkhor sometimes take b... and sometimes et?

Shalom Roi, 1. ahh a new word-great! 2. I was trying to use "lekaim" in the sentence- to realize. "your verb changes the meaning. Can I use lekaim in a conjugated form? 3. I like your rephasing using "the success"-definately more sophisticated. 3a. Was this sentence correct-Your schedule is extremely crowded? 4. True and I should have more commas in the sentences above as well. Please send my comment below on to the right team. Look forward to your response.

Hi Shelley,

Thanks for sharing your work - let's review:

1. 'Available' in this context = ื–ืžื™ืŸ (or ื–ืžื™ื ื™ื in Hebrew).

Shalom team, I understand the words in the line-by line. I think the second sentence needs to be framed differently- as a question since we are used to seeing a question on the second line. You wanted us to choose the boys schedule on the day of the meeting. ie. What does the boys schedule look like on the meeting day.? I did not understand the pictures in the video. the red meeting looks like a bed with two bedposts. Also perhaps if you label each schedule on top as the boys meeting day schedule. Sorry, but I didn't know what I was looking at.

On Jeannet's comment, please change the vowelled section also. Thank you.

Hi Reuben,

Thanks for commenting!

If I understand correctly, you mean what is ืžื ื”ืœื™ื ืฉื™ื—ื” ืชื•ืš - it is a part of a sentence, and translates as 'having a conversation during'.

Does it sound correct?

Yours,

Roi
