Hi Stefan!

Thanks for commenting and sharing your birthday.

27 in Juli = ื‘ืขืฉืจื™ื ื•ื‘ืฉื‘ืขื” ื‘ื™ื•ืœื™ - we use the masculine number form - ืขืฉืจื™ื ื•ืฉื‘ืขื” - as 'days' are masculine. There will be a lesson about this further on.

Yours,

Roi

Hi Shelley Lynn,

You're right - when reading these numbers, we must rely on the preceding number word and the nounโ€™s gender to understand. About the โ€œHaโ€: "the twelve girls" will be "ืฉืชื™ื-ืขืฉืจื” ื”ื™ืœื“ื•ืช". This is a Smichut contract, so the first part of it does not get a "ha".

I promise it well get easier with time

Sincerely,

Yaara

Thank you , Yaara, some of the problem is that "eser and Asar are spelled the same without the vowels as well as "esray and asara, but your explanation definitely helps. You must rely on the preceding number word and the noun's gender to understand. I didn't understand your sentence near the end where to place the "Ha". ie. if you were saying the twelve girls, would you place the "ha" only in front of" yeladot" and not in front of the number?
