John: This is Must-Know Hebrew Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 3. In this lesson, you'll learn feminine slang expressions.
John: These new expressions are usually used by women. You may hear them from men, but generally speaking, they are feminine.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
John: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:
Katja: אין דברים כאלה (ein dvarim kaele)
Katja: לא, אין לתאר (lo, ein leta-er)
Katja: יאללה תתקדם (yalla titkadem )
Katja: לא להיות אמיתי (lo lihiyot amiti)
John: Katja, what's our first expression?
Katja: אין דברים כאלה (ein dvarim kaele)
John: literally meaning "there are no such things." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "unbelievable or wow."
Katja: [SLOW] אין דברים כאלה [NORMAL] אין דברים כאלה

John: Use this slang expression when you want to emphasize your previous saying. This is a very popular expression and is used mainly by women and gay men.
