Hi Shelley,

Thanks for posting.

No, camah (ื›ืžื”) would not be correct here.

Always happy to help and advise, and thanks for the feedback! Hope you'll manage to understand the future tense as well as you did with the past :)

Thanks for your suggestion, Roi, but I think if I had changed the verb to eat/ate the meaning would be what I wanted it to be- You eat/ate some of the spinach and then " some, camah" would have worked? ksat would also work. Present tense eat doesn't work well for the meaning of the sentence, but the goal was to do the present and past tense of the verb-I guess I just needed a better sentence.

lol-I certainly feel that your rules are working and I am learning! Are your rules in a specific book you are using?

This series was really helpful in teaching me the past tense. I'd love to see a series like this for the future tense.

Hi Shelley,

Thanks for posting.

To say "would you like some of the spinach", we'd say "ืชืจืฆื” ืงืฆืช ืžื”ืชืจื“?" - 'ktsat' (ืงืฆืช - a little) in this case replaces the "some".

No, I don't have a list of words ?? Just very good familiarity with the Hebrew language and it's rules... sometimes I even have to do some research myself to be sure though...

Thank you for the encouragement. With the spinach sentence- I was implying that she ate some but not all. So I would need to be more explicit in Hebrew and use more words. Would you show me how you would do it?

lol-You must have a list in front of you-121 parallel in hebrew! Are you using any specific grammar book? I think we need that list! I often wondered how you are trained for this job! Looking forward to your response.

Hi Shelley,

Excellent work! Very good translations (:

Note that 'some' is a hard word to translate - (no 121 parallel in Hebrew) and in this case 'ื›ืžื”' is wrong...

We could say ืืชื” ืื•ื”ื‘/ืื”ื‘ืช ืœืื›ื•ืœ ืชืจื“ ื™ืจื•ืง ื›ื”ื”.

Keep up the good work!
