Hello, ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to another episode of Hebrew Weekly Words. This week we’re going to talk about “Home Electronics”.
מכשירי חשמל ביתיים
(makhshirei khashmal beiti-eem)

כיריים
(kiraim) “stove”
אוי לא! השארתי משהו על הכיריים.
(oi lo! hesharti mashehu al ha'kiraim.)
“Oh no! I left something on the stove.”
2.
מאוורר
(meavrer) “fan”
המאוורר הזה מטונף.
(ha'meavrer haze metunaf.)
“This fan is filthy.”
3.
מזגן
(mazgan) “air conditioner”
איזה חום, את יכולה להדליק מזגן?
(eize khom, at yekhola lehadlik mazgan?)
“It's so hot, can you turn on the air conditioner?”
4.
מיקרוגל
(mikrogal) “microwave”
אל תכניסו מתכת למיקרוגל.
(al takhnisu matekhet la'mikrogal.)
“Don't put metal in the microwave.”
As my sister learned from her bitter experience.
5.
שואב אבק
(shoev avak) “vacuum cleaner”
זה שייך לשואב האבק שלי.
(ze shayakh le'shoev ha'avak sheli.)
“This belongs to my vacuum cleaner.”
