Hi Shelley,

Good question. The word "weather" in Hebrew is ืžื–ื’ ืื•ื•ื™ืจ - mezeg avir. When you want to make it definite, like in "today's weather" (in Hebrew it will be "the weather today") you add "the" - "ha". As we discussed some time ago, in a Smikhut phrase like this, the "ha" will be added to the second word of the phrase, in this case "avir", thus: "mezeg ha'avir" - ืžื–ื’ ื”ืื•ื•ื™ืจ.

I hope this answer is helpful

Sincerely,

Yaara
