There is a word as "nu" in Hebrew (spelled "נו"), which functions as a rushing word or as a question.
One could use it, for example as in the following phrase -
"Nu, shalakhta kvar et ha-mikhtav?" - (So, did you send the letter already?)
"Nu bo kvar!" (Come already!)
