Tips, Tools & Success Strategies For Mastering Hebrew ‘Til 2022
This is the monthly, no-holds-barred newsletter giving you tried and tested learning methods to help you reach your language goals this year.
Last time, you learned how to integrate self-study and learning with a teacher.
And last time, I set a goal for 25 minutes of Russian conversation — the final goal of the year. The result? I hit it.
And if you’re wondering how… remember, I’m not doing all the talking for 20 minutes. These are timed conversations with my teacher. So, I’ll talk a bit, and she’ll talk a bit. I’ll switch to a new topic… and take up some time. And of course, I always ask questions, so it’s just not speaking.
Plus, this past year, I’ve hit and missed many goals… and if you remember, I also adjusted my end-of-year goal down from 30 minutes.
So, behind this final goal, there were many stumbles and challenges along the way.
That being said, having a 25-minute conversation in another language… can indeed be challenging. But, it also helps when you’re an extrovert. I consider myself a bit of an extrovert, so I always wondered if extroverts and introverts have any language-learning advantages.
That’s actually the topic of today’s Inner Circle.
And listeners, let me know: What’s your small, measurable monthly goal? And what’s the deadline?
See you next month!
