Brandon: Camels can be easily seen in the southern part of Israel. Camels have the Hebrew nickname “ship of the desert.” Humans use camels’ for milk, meat, hair, as a method of transportation and to carry heavy loads.

Brandon: Like in many countries, Israelis consider the dove to be a symbol of peace. The origin of this symbol is based on the story of the flood in the book of Genesis. It says a dove brought an olive branch to Noah.

Brandon: You can find deer usually in the mountains in Israel. In the Bible, the deer is considered to be one of the only pure animals that are permitted to be eaten and was a common meal on King Solomon's table.
